Exchange Received from Wendy Jo

This adorable floss tag is my first ever. I'm so happy it has my name and bees and it's really neat.

It came with sooo many goodies that I really feel spoiled. Two packages of Piecemakers needles, three GAST threads in red, green & white just what I need for Christmas ornies, plus some 28 count putty linen and Christmas fabric for backing ornie too. In the right corner is the cutest little scissor pouch with a drawstring top. What a perfect little carry around for scissors. This all came on Monday but when DH picked up the mail the phone in his office was ringing and he carried the mail into his office. He didn't remember the package until another package came on Thursday so he just gave me both envelopes at the same time. He didn't fess up until this morning when I made a point of asking. WELL he's in the dog house for the day and maybe the whole weekend.
Thanks you Wendy Jo for a great exchange gift. Sorry it took so long to acknowledge.

Progress on Weihenbury Spot Sampler Mystery

The more I stitch this sampler the more I like it. Exchanges will be over for the year soon so then I can devote more time to it and hopefully catch up. I'm just barely on page 4 but page 6 is out already.

I've also worked on my Thanksgiving Biscornu

Thanks for coming by Happy Stitching.

Weekend stitshing and exchanges

This weekend I worked on Barbara Ann Designs Thanksgiving Biscornu and my HOE exchange for the Floss Ring Exchange. I really like the cheer bright designs from Barbara Ann and have purchased several or her designs.

I received this lovely mattress pincushion from Marion on the HoE exchange. The gifties are the Blessings chart from Homespun Elegance, floss and a pretty fall post card.

Thank you Marion

Thank you for visiting. I love it when you leave comments so I can get to know you.

Progress on Wiehenbury Mystery Spot Sampler

I joined Becky's Let's Stitch Blog SAT on Friday nights. It has help me make more progress than I thought possible on my mystery sampler. We have received 4 pages so far but I’m only on page 2. BUT I am making progress.

I really appreciate you coming by and hope you leave a comment.

Happy Thursday

I've been stitching on exchanges so I've not much progress to show. At work I'm working on Cindy Valentin's Christmas Orny in the 2008 JCS issue. I'm using metallics instead of the over-dyed call for. I love metallics.

Then I've done a little more on my Wiehenburg Spot Sampler Mystery. It is my challenge for Let's Stitch this week.

Thanks for stopping by I appreciate all the comments you leave.

HoE Halloween Exchange for Edgar

Edgar received his exchange so I will post my first pictures of my stitching. I fell in love with the Quaker Cat from Workbasket but my LNS was out of any orange linen. So I found some 40 count linen in my stash and dyed it with Rit liquid Tangerine to match some black and orange fabric to make a floss holder. I really enjoyed learning to stitching one over one and Edgar liked it so I think it was a sucess.
