Biscornu for Gillie

Gillie posted that she has received her biscornu in the Please Pass the Biscornu exchange. I is a hardanger on I designed for her with petite blanket stitch, kloster blocks, Algerian eyelets, woven bars with picots and square filets done in light and dark peach on white.

Gillie was pleased with the biscornu and unfortunately I will be dropping out of the exchange group as I have to slow down on my stitching and do some Physical Therapy for my back.
Please leave a comment. I really like hearing from my readers.

15 Sided Biscornu

This is one I made last year from quilting fabric. I cut fabric squares, basted them to 2" square pieces of paper and pieced them like English paper piecing.

The fabric squares are piece a little different that the cross stitched 15 sided Biscornus that are more circular. I really prefer them star shaped but I wouldn't
mind one or two of each. {greedddy}

Progress on Weihenbury Spot Sampler Mystery

The more I stitch this sampler the more I like it. Exchanges will be over for the year soon so then I can devote more time to it and hopefully catch up. I'm just barely on page 4 but page 6 is out already.

I've also worked on my Thanksgiving Biscornu

Thanks for coming by Happy Stitching.
